U-racks- These racks are inverted U-shape with two points that are attached and secured to the ground. It is reliable and commonly used in urban areas so you can easily find it in places like sidewalks. Using these racks for parking means both wheels of the bike will be secured.
Grid racks - This model of racks is comprised of vertical bars that are connecting lower and upper metal bars. This allows for easy parking on both sides on the rack, but it does not allow for both the frame and the wheel to be secured.
Wave racks - As the name refers, these racks come in a wave configuration. They offer both, functionality and interesting design and ability to secure more bikes at once compared to U-shape racks. They can usually accommodate about 7 bikes.
Spiral racks - Spiral racks come with an interesting appeal, but when it comes to accessibility they are not the best choice of racks for parking. One of the downsides is that the wheel of the bike must be lifted so you can park the bike properly.
